Moving To Heal–The Art of Feeling Better!
The Moving to Heal (M2H) Nia class experience is defined simply by “I feel better.” Participants learn how to personalize movements and adapt them to their health needs, whether standing or from a chair.
We all have something to heal, and the gift of these Nia classes is aimed at supporting that process. Whether you are dealing with cancer, injury, trauma, grief, short-term or long-term illness, addiction recovery or any other health issue, these classes are offered in a safe, therapeutic environment that honors the confidentiality of all participants.
Moving to Heal classes teach people to listen to the voice of the body – sensation. Sensation is the tool for self-healing. The class focuses on body awareness and increasing a sense of deepening gratitude for the body. M2H class benefits include: increased energy and feelings of relaxation, it can make you feel better, and the classes create community.
